Knowing your orientation

Describes a new evaluation method for the orientation characteristics of parts, based on the idea that within Euclidean 3D space there should exist three, instead of two, symmetries. Demonstrates that evaluation of orientation characteristics by this method for any type of part shape is simple, fast and fully in accordance with the principles valid for Euclidean space.
