Robotic Process Systems, Inc. was created in 1987 and is a manufacturer of custom built automation systems. RPS uses Cartesian and SCARA robots to accomplish process requirements and specialises in turnkey solutions, process development and automated assembly machines. Bowl feeding, Pick and place,Dispensing, Forming, Trimming, Reflow Ovens, Convection ovens and Packaging can all be incorporated into the process requirements.
One piece of machinery that RPS manufactures is a bowl feeder. It is constructed out of stainless steel and is tooled to handle a wide variation in component characteristics. Multiple track configurations are available with special features to overcome "shingling" of thin, flat components.
Other options include hoppers, orientation by colour, singulation(escapement) devices, overfeed return tracks and dead nesting.
