Handbook of Research Methods in Experimental Psychology

It was the word “methods” in the title that threw me off the scent. This is by no means a textbook on research methodology, and should not be used as one. It is mainly a broad‐ranging discussion of the ways in which research is carried out in experimental psychology. Philologically speaking, a “handbook” and a “manual” have similar meanings, but the distinction between the guiding companion and the detailed set of instructions is now reasonably clear, I think.
