The Internet Hockey Database is an amazing source of information on the world of hockey, including statistics on more than 57,000 players, 2,600 teams, and 165 leagues. Perhaps more impressive is the fact that it is maintained by one person. Ralph Slate is the site’s creator and editor and, though he has many sources of information (books, Web sites, and people) to which he gives thanks on his Credits page, bringing all of this information together in one place is a huge job for one person.
