Centropa: Jewish Heritage in Central and Eastern Europe

Centropa, headquartered in Vienna, Austria, is the signature project of the Central Europe Center for Research and Documentation, a US‐based not‐for‐profit corporation. Centropa’s goal “is to create a window into Jewish history, and current events, in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union”. To achieve this goal, the Center utilizes over 50 people, including historians, film‐makers, Web designers, educators and Jewish activists, to create a cultural Mecca of information about historical and current Jewish lives.
