This title was first published in 1969 as The Atlas of Jewish History. Further editions with slightly variant titles then appeared at rather irregular intervals with a fifth edition in 1993. A ten‐year gap followed until the sixth edition of 2003, which is now updated, just three years later, by this latest version.
