The Center for the Study of Mathematics Curriculum (CSMC), physically located at the University of Missouri‐Columbia, focuses on research about the mathematics curriculum. Specifically, they examine the research and design principles of creating and using curricular materials, noting how they impact teaching and learning. A consortium of universities, public schools, and a research institution are driving the research efforts. As a part of their mission, CSMC has created four resource databases: state standards, curriculum literature, textbooks, and research instruments.
