The Art Atlas is a very ambitious endeavour. It covers in one volume of 350 pages art from all areas of the world and all time periods. Admittedly, the book is a folio volume (34.5 cm high) and the print is fairly small but, on the other hand, the textual content is not huge as one usually finds on each page a map and one or two images, illustrating the content of the text.
