The Central and East European Population since 1850

The Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (www.mzes.uni-mannheim.de/d7/en) has been steadily accumulating an enormous range of research data on Europe. Two books have already been published – The European Population 1850-1945 (Rothenbacher, 2002) and The European Population since 1945 (Rothenbacher, 2005). These escaped Reference Review's net at the time of publication, so I should mention them now as the foundations of this series.
