Women and Music: A Selective Annotated Bibliography on Women and Gender Issues in Music, 1987‐1992

It is always with some surprise that I come across specialized bibliographies like this in print form as it seems to me that, however good they are, the potential readership must be extremely limited. I wonder that the publishers can actually make such publishing pay, and also why they do not establish some system for putting such information on‐line where it could be easily updated if the demand proved sufficient to justify the input that would be needed.
