Counterpoise

Counterpoise is a quarterly review journal devoted to the alternative press. It is published by the Alternatives in Print Task Force of the Social Responsibilities Round Table of the American Library Association. By the phrase “alternative press” is meant “an enormous body of books, pamphlets, magazines, zines, and audiovisual and electronic materials presenting socially responsible knowledge, points of view and choices.
