Reference Guide to Russian Literature

This imposing volume will surely be regarded as the standard guide to Russian literature for some considerable time to come. Edited by Neil Cornwell, who is Professor of Russian and Comparative Literature at the University of Bristol, and with Nicole Christian, also of the University of Bristol, as associate editor, the encyclopaedia is the work of 180 academics specialising in the field. A majority of the advisers and contributors are working in British universities, but professors and lecturers active in the United States, Commonwealth countries and elsewhere have also provided many articles.
