The Comprehensive Shakespeare Dictionary on CD‐ROM joins a plethora of other materials on Shakespeare available in CD‐ROM format. This CD‐ROM has a menu screen containing a portrait of Shakespeare which looks something like the Droeshout image. The screen layout contains divisions into “characters”, “plots” and “quotations”. Underneath these are found “lexicon”, “image”, “bio” and “help”. Using the dictionary is simple.
