Bartram’s Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine

This is the paperback version of a book published in 1995 by Grace Publishers, a press specialising in alternative and complementary health. It does not appear to have been updated. The encyclopaedia is of the dictionary format; that is, there are short items on many topics rather than long essays on particular aspects. The entries include herbal medicines, diseases, some allopathic medicines, famous herbalists and other alternative medical systems. For the herbal medicines the uses and preparation are described.
