Historical Dictionary of Poland 1945‐1996

In his preface, Wróbel remarks that this present Dictionary is a sequel to George J. Lerski’s Historical Dictionary of Poland 966‐1945 (Greenwood Press, 1996) with which he had a long involvement. He makes no mention here of George Sanford and Adriana Gozdecka‐Sanford’s Historical Dictionary of Poland (Scarecrow Press, 1994) although he includes it in his bibliography and refers to it in the short lists of authorities incorporated at the end of his entries.
