This is “the millennium edition” (there will be a lot of them across innumerable titles, I make no doubt), and to celebrate the event this one begins with 100 entries from previous editions, 1935‐1999, featuring those “whom we at Europa regard as having made a very significant contribution to shaping the Twentieth Century.
