Dictionary of World Biography, Vols 5‐6: The Nineteenth Century

Almost every issue of Reference Reviews now seems to underline Fitzroy Dearborn’s emergence as a major player in the growing reference book market. Their Dictionary of World Biography has expeditiously reached volumes five and six dealing with the nineteenth century. That means only three volumes for the twentieth century, and a final comprehensive index volume, have yet to appear.
