The Grove Library of World Art is a new publishing programme from Macmillan Reference Ltd, intending to make available specialist areas from the award‐winning Dictionary of Art in one‐ to three‐volume sets. The Encyclopaedia of Italian Renaissance and Mannerist Art is the first title published within the Grove Encyclopaedias of European Art series.
This two‐volume set comprises 1,775 alphabetically arranged articles and over 1,000 illustrations, including 200 new illustrations in colour.
