In the 1960s and 1970s an enterprising young man, Neil Wayne, issued a lot of folk material on vinyl. Much of it featured various “squeeze‐boxes” ‐ concertinas, accordions and the like. And most of Wayne’s issues are now collectors’ items, rare as gold dust. Neil Wayne has started to record again on CD. The improved sound quality is a blessing; the material so far produced is an immensely useful benefit.
