Gothic Documents: A Sourcebook 1700‐1820

E.J. Clery, Principal Lecturer in English Studies at Sheffield Hallam University and Robert Miles, Professor of English Studies at Sheffield Hallam University explain in their brief Introduction that the intention of their anthology Gothic Documents “is to make available a body of texts connected with the cultural phenomenon known as Gothic writing”. The anthology is divided into six sections. Each section is subdivided by the number of extracts contained within it.
