ASSIAnet, the Web version of the Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts, is a database providing abstracts from around 650 UK, US, and international journals.(A journal listing is available online.) The total content is in excess of 240,000 records, dating back to 1987. All branches of the applied social sciences, including current material on social services, health, economics, politics, race relations, and education, are covered. Access is available via IP authentication or username/password.
