The Social Science Electronic Data Library (SSEDL) consists of three components: a data library, four instruction modules, and an online data analysis system (Multivariate Interactive Data Analysis System, or MIDAS).
The Data Library comprises over 200 data sets divided into eight topically organized archives, totalling over 140,000 variables. Archive topics span a wide range of health and social science subjects, including aging, AIDS/STD, child welfare and poverty, adolescent pregnancy and family planning, maternal drug abuse and disability.
