This review can be short and sweet. Rarely have I encountered a dictionary which so intrigued, interested and impressed me. “Completely new”, “unfussy” “unrivalled”, “extensive”, “up‐to‐the‐minute”, “ideal … for advanced learners, businesspeople and university students”, “real Spanish for the real world”. All so easy for the PR and marketing people to claim; but are those grand words really justified? In my view, every word is fully justified: an imaginative, innovative, wide‐ranging, and authoritative dictionary, at a startlingly modest price!
