Another addition to the useful British Library’s How to Find Information series. This one starts with a definition of complementary and alternative health care. Complementary treatments are those like osteopathy that can be used in conjunction with standard western medicine, and alternative are those like homeopathy that cannot easily be used in conjunction with it.
