This innovative new dictionary in two‐column format features the new German spelling. As this reform sometimes entails changes in alphabetical order, both the old and new spellings are shown in the German‐English sequence, helpfully cross‐referenced where necessary. On the English‐German side, only the new spelling is used, without any labelling.
With 90,000 words and phrases and 120,000 translations, it is notably percipient and thorough in its coverage of written and spoken German as they are actually used today.
