The Life Science Dictionary is one of the primary resources of the BioTech biology/chemistry educational Web site housed at the University of Texas at Austin. Its staff members and contributors come from a variety of universities and organizations. The Dictionary consists of over 8,300 terms dealing with biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, cell biology, and genetics, and to a lesser extent ecology, limnology, pharmacology, toxicology and medicine.
The site’s design is not perfect. For instance, there is no link back to the dictionary’s home page from the search results, but a fully functional search box is available from the search results page....
