A digital collection of The Public Records of the Colony of Connecticut, from April 1636 to October 1776 is now accessible through the Colonial Connecticut Records Web site. University of Connecticut Libraries staff created the database by digitizing microfilm copies of the 15 volumes that comprise the original nineteenth century publication. The project, which received support from the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center and the Connecticut State Library, is an excellent source of information on Connecticut’s colonial history, politics, laws, society, military activities, and foreign relations.
