Historic Events of the Twentieth Century

Historic Events of the Twentieth Century is the electronic version of Greenwood Press’s print series of the same title. The Web site currently includes the following guides: The Civil Rights Movement, The Collapse of Communism in the Soviet Union, The Holocaust, World War I and World War II, with Islamic Fundamentalism forthcoming in 2003. The online version expands on the print by including hyperlinks, multimedia clips, maps, and lesson plans for teachers.
