The authors of this dictionary are academics from, respectively, Australia, the USA and Canada, and their interests cover the range of topics indicated by the title. The book begins with three essays called primers. These cover economics for the environment, international environmental problems and environmental dynamics and modelling. I found all three easy to understand, and although I might quibble with some of the details of the biology of the third, I found the basic science correct.
