This “sourcebook” comprises a collection of entries or mini‐essays on 192 rivers from across the globe. These range from 250 to just over 2,000 words in length and are all the work of Penn, a past teacher of geography at several US universities and author of Encyclopedia of Geographical Features in World History, also from ABC‐Clio.
