Fiction in American Magazines before 1800 is a three‐volume set providing author and title indexing for fiction in about 75 eighteenth‐century periodicals from the British colonies in America and later the USA. The list of titles covered includes all periodicals from “University Microfilm’s American Periodical Series I and some of APS II … plus select titles from Reader’s Early American Newspapers”.
