LionHeart

LionHeart is a collection of love poems in English from the 16th to the 19th and early 20th centuries. The poems are taken from the English, American, and African‐American poetry databases of Chadwyck‐Healey's Literature Online service. While Literature Online is a subscription‐based service, LionHeart is available free‐of‐charge.

Simple and complex searching options are available. In a simple search, users enter a word or phrase in the Word in Poem or Word in Title (which includes the first line of the poems) search boxes. If multiple words are entered, the default search is as a phrase. Users can also search for...
