The name of Geoffrey Godden, who has more than 30 books on china, pottery, porcelain and ceramic art generally to his credit, needs no introduction to those interested in these subjects, whether they are tradesmen, collectors or would‐be collectors. With this work on English blue and white porcelain Godden has certainly added to his already fine reputation.
