Saints on Earth is an unusual kind of reference book. In contrast to dictionaries of saints recently reviewed in these columns (Farmer, 2003) (RR 2005/288) (Manser, 2004) (RR 2005/339), this has no intention to be a comprehensive survey of the saints of the Christian church.
