This dictionary is a compilation of the International Food Information Service, a major information provider in food science. The overall content is what one would expect from such a source. It contains over 7,800 entries, which is about 20 to a page. The entries are in strict alphabetical order and presented in two columns. All terms used in the definitions that are themselves defined in the book are shown in bold. The dictionary is very easy to use.
The terms defined run from animals and plants (hens and mangoes) used for food through to particular products (manchego cheese and lager)....
