Dictionary of Food Science and Technology (2nd edition)

This dictionary is published by the International Food Information Service (IFIS) whose purpose is to “provide information products and services, commission research, and provide education in information science for the international food science, food technology and nutrition community”. First published in 2005 (RR 2006/89), this second edition contains 763 new terms, with all 7,849 terms from the earlier edition having been reviewed and updated. 1,500 of these have been completely rewritten.

There are three appendices covering the Greek alphabet, scientific societies and organizations in the food sciences and web resources.
