Historians Kathryn Kish Sklar and Thomas Dublin launched the original web site Women and Social Movements in the United States in 1997 as a senior seminar project at State University of New York, Binghamton. Published jointly with Alexander Street Press since September 2004, the web site is intended as a resource for college undergraduate and graduate students and scholars of United States women's history.
