Quilts and Quiltmaking in America, 1978‐1996 is an online collection of images and recorded interviews documenting the work of quilt makers in twentieth century America. This web site is part of the Library of Congress American Memory Project. With images and sound recordings from two collections – the Blue Ridge Parkway Folk Life Project and the Lands/End Good Housekeeping All American Quilt Contest – the web site faithfully documents quilts made in traditional patterns using traditional methods as well as more contemporary art quilts.
