Hinterland Who's Who (Wildlife in Canada)

The Hinterland Who's Who site is produced by the Canadian Wildlife Service, a branch of Environment Canada and the Canadian Wildlife Federation, a large nongovernmental conservation organization. The partnership between the federal government and a well‐established NGO provides depth to the web site, allowing it to draw on the research of government scientists and the advocacy initiatives of an active organization. The site provides numerous fact sheets on Canadian species and habitats, and an array of activities, lesson plans and ideas to link classroom science with environmental action.
