A Dictionary of Zoology is one in a series of authoritative and up-to-date reference books for students and general readers from Oxford University Press. The first edition of this title was published in 1991 as the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Zoology, now it is up to the fourth edition and has naturally grown longer over 23 years. However, it is still in paperback, not too bulky and has useful end alphabet tabs for letters, making it easier to find entries.
