Encyclopedia of Human‐Animal Relationships

Congratulations to Greenwood Press for resisting the temptation to compact this ambitious work into large and unwieldy volumes. Many a Reference Reviews reviewer has recently grumbled at publishers who produce such bibliographic monsters. Large volumes may be more economical to produce, but smaller volumes are easier to use. These sub‐A4‐sized, sub‐400‐page physically attractive volumes are a pleasure to use.
