The Charles Dickens Page is an easy to use resource that will benefit the undergraduate student of Dickens. While not a scholarly source, it does provide useful background to Dickens' characters, the world that he and they inhabited, and informative biographical details. Mr. Perdue does not present his site as an academic resource, nor does he offer critical analysis of Dickens' work. He does, however, provide a useful bibliography and notes section with references to works published by scholarly presses as well as other Dickens reference works and works of general historical interest.
