The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) is the premier electronic provider of US Department of Defense (DoD) scientific and technical information. They have been in existence for over 60 years, and their collections include technical report literature, research summaries, preliminary research and development summaries, and DoD planning documents. Technical reports are often considered grey literature, unpublished and unavailable to the public unless purchased, but a glance at this site will show that this is not the case.
