The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) is a cost‐recovery entity under the United States Department of Commerce. The web site is a comprehensive resource for federally funded scientific, engineering, and business‐related reports that are not accessible through other indexes. This online database indexes over two million publications back to 1964; it provides links to some full‐text materials.
