To judge the importance and significance of recent historical source material is ill‐advised and when studying Historic Documents 2006, I am reminded of the quote attributed to the Chinese Communist politician Zhou Enlai (Chou‐en‐Lai) who, when asked (reportedly by Henry Kissinger) about the historical effect of the 1789 French Revolution, is said to have replied “Too soon to tell”.
