American Women Leaders: 1,560 Current Biographies

At this point in history, thousands of American women are leading in many professional fields. Author and insurance agent Carol Hawkins provides brief biographies of 1,560 such contemporary women. Her criteria for inclusion are women who were born or raised in the United States and women who “have played an important role in the development of American children by serving as a role model” (p.viii).
