The primary function of this web site is to provide ongoing online education for practicing meteorologists and students in the atmospheric and geosciences. This site is developed and maintained by the Cooperative Program for Operation Meteorology, Education and Training (COMET). “The COMET® Program's mission is to serve as a premier resource that supports, enhances, and stimulates the communication and application of scientific knowledge of the atmospheric and related sciences for the operational and educational communities.
