What is public history? This site gathers together a number of definitions and thoughts – excerpts from essays, books, and the syllabi of those who teach it. The Public History Resource Center aims to gather together in one spot a number of would‐be helpful sources for professionals in the field: job advertisements, a calendar, definitions, a listing of programmes in public history, and the Views from the Field – interview style Q & A with practicing public historians.
