Routledge is a well‐respected publisher of academic textbooks and its growing series of online reference resources will enable easier access to good quality encyclopedias, handbooks and dictionaries. Routledge Reference Online encompasses nine subject based online reference collections which include education, history, literature, media and cultural studies, music, philosophy, politics and international relations, religion, and sociology. Currently these regularly‐updated collections make available online almost 400 reference works. A federated search facility enables cross‐searching of all subject based collections.
