This book, written by Robert Krebs an experienced teacher of science with a keen interest in promoting scientific literacy, is aimed at high school and college students. It commences with an introduction to science and scientific method. It also tells us what science is not. Amongst the things it is not are religion, magic and parapsychology. The author appears to come down quite heavily on religion, and criticises the 75 percent of people in the USA who believe in angels.
